Q.Do you travel to deliver seminars,workshops, Executive Retreats, coaching, professional and motivational speaking engagements, and consultation services?
 
A.Yes, I will travel anywhere in North America and other locations, including the U.A.E., the Caribbean, and Europe. For more information about my services including international fees, please contact Hirut Eyob, Business Manager.
 
My fees do not include travel, accommodation, meals, per diems, training materials and related expenses, and shipping of materials/equipment.

Q. What is your presentation style?
 
A.  My presentation style is an integration of:
  • Facilitated discussions
  • Small group work
  • Interactive exercises and activities
  • Use of case studies and scenarios
  • Individual reflection
  • Podcasts, Webcasts, and Digital Video recording
  • Webinars and social networking applications
  • Visual, audio, and text -based materials

Note: My presentation style will vary depending on the number of participants/audience, topic, location, and accessibility requirements of the participants.

A. My approach to teaching difficult topics is to:
  • Create space for open, honest, respectful, and engaged discussions.
  • Make room for folks to share their experiences.
  • Foster a learning environment where folks are actively involved, responsible and accountable for their learning.
  • Be supportive.
  • Share my knowledge, insights, and expertize.
  • Be open, approachable, and available to participants to ask questions and work through solutions.
  • Appreciate and draw on the lived experiences of all participants.
  • Encourage folks to be patient with themselves as well as others because we all have different starting points in relation to the topic.
  • Ask folks to look for commonalities while recognizing and valuing the importance of their personal narratives.

Q.Do you offer follow-up sessions?

A.Yes, a follow-up session can be arranged at an hourly rate.

Q. Do you take different learning styles into consideration when designing your materials?

A. Yes, in order to include different learning styles, a combination of visual, audio, text-based materials, and practice-based activities are used in preparing the materials.


Q.Do you provide accessible materials and/or spaces?

AYes, I work with my clients to provide accessible materials, and physically accessible spaces. If additional accommodations are required, please make sure you include them in your request for service or Booking Tomee form.

Q.How can I stay up-to-date with the newest diversity and inclusion strategies, personal and professional development tips/strategies?
